Made from ASTM A105 or WCB carbon steel, this valve has a tensile strength ranging from 485-620 MPa and yield strength around 250 MPa. It works in temperatures between –29 °C and +425 °C and withstands pressures up to 3000 psi. The ball and stem are often stainless steel or hard-coated for wear resistance. The seats are PTFE or metal, based on the application. Carbon steel offers excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, and pressure handling, making it perfect for harsh operating conditions. The sturdy body design provides a long life in abrasive or high-use conditions.
